Over the past couple of weeks I have had to deal with four different WordPress sites that have been hacked. The thing they had in common is that they hadn’t been kept updated with the latest WordPress Version, plugins or themes.

Each WordPress Version updates increases the security of your site.  They are constantly improving the software that runs your site so it is in your interest to keep up and upgrade to the latest version when it is released.

I have been asked many times “Why has my site been targeted by hackers?”

So here are my Hacker FAQs:

A. Because it’s there.

Q. How can I avoid getting hacked?
A. Make sure your site is as secure as possible.
